Hikari is our 5th lamp, based on Jovi’s design concept: “corrugated patterns.” At certain angles, especially from the top you’ll notice how rounded the edges are, but from an eye-level view, it appears pointy and edgy. This shift in perception creates the corrugated effect. Corrugated patterns can be found in traditional rooftop designs and the internal structures of cardboard.
 
We’re making this lamp as a tribute to the first lamp we designed, Haju. It takes the form of our Haju base, but in a longer version, finished with concrete patterns, and paired with a shade that carries our signature design concept. The word “Hikari” itself means soft ambient lighting.
