SONOGO

Sonogo was founded by Jovi Lim, a passionate designer from Singapore. He launched Sonogo in September 2024, starting from his bedroom after learning 3D printing and lamp design on his own . Jovi’s mission is to create good design that speaks to the everyday, while remaining reasonably priced and eco-conscious.

Our lamp designs are inspired by our founder's everyday life and the things he observes around him. A key design concept in our work is the use of corrugated patterns.

At Sonogo, we do not carry ready stock. All our lamps are made to order in small batches. When we open for restocks, we only accept a limited number of orders before closing the store, either once sold out or by a specific cut-off date.

We restock during the first day of every month, specifically at 9PM. Orders are accepted in limited quantities, so be sure to order early before we sell out or close the store for the month.

Our lamps are made-to-order, so production takes approximately 21 days before dispatch. Once shipped, delivery within Singapore typically takes 1–3 business days. We don’t keep excess stock, every piece is 3D printed and hand assembled, intentionally just for you.

Once your lamp is shipped, a tracking link and your shipping confirmation will be sent via SMS and email respectively.

If your lamp hasn’t arrived, please email us at sonogodesign@gmail.com. We’ll promptly check the status of your order and ensure it gets delivered to your doorstep.

We currently do not support delayed shipments, as it adds extra handling on our end. Please place your order only when you're ready to receive it. If you need to update your shipping address, contact us within 7 days of ordering, and we’ll be happy to assist.

Orders can be made directly through our website. Just choose your lamp, add to cart, and checkout securely. When a lamp is sold out, its price will no longer be displayed on the homepage, but you can still view it by clicking into the product page.

Yes, changes can be made within 48 hours of purchase. After that, we begin crafting your lamp and no further changes can be made, so please reach out as soon as possible!

Yes. If your lamp has no damages, you can request a return within 7 days of receiving it, we’ll issue a full refund. Please note that the item returned must be in its original condition.

Shipping damages within Singapore are fully covered. Please contact us at sonogodesign@gmail.com with clear photos of the packaging, broken part and details within 7 days of your package’s arrival. We’ll arrange a replacement and have it sent out within 7 days. As our lamps are made to order, we do not keep ready stock. Replacement parts will be crafted from scratch with the same care and quality. Please note: We currently do not cover damages for orders shipped outside of Singapore.

All Sonogo lamps operate on 220V and come fitted with a EU plug by default. If you require a different plug type, feel free to reach out! We’ll do our best to accommodate.

We recommend using LED bulbs under 10 watts for all Sonogo lamps. This ensures energy efficiency, low heat output, and safety especially with 3D-printed materials. Do not use incandescent or halogen bulbs.

All of our electrical components are carefully sourced from reputable local suppliers and are CE and VDE marked, ensuring safety and compliance with international standards.

Our lamps are made from polylactic acid, also known as "PLA", which is derived from natural plant-based materials like sugarcane and cornstarch. PLA is technically biodegradable, but only under industrial composting conditions which involve sustained high temperatures (around 58°C / 136°F), controlled humidity, and microbial activity. In a normal home setting, your Sonogo lamp will not biodegrade or crumble in your home after 20 years. It’s designed to last especially in indoor, dry conditions.
