The Oboro lamp is an added chapter to my ongoing Corrugated Lamps series. This design grew from my fascination with rhythm and balance, how light can be softened and sculpted simply by the way a form repeats itself. The layered, folded body of the lamp is both precise and organic, creating an ever-shifting play of shadows across its surface when illuminated.
Unlike my earlier works, the Oboro Classic is meant to feel familiar yet quietly striking. Its shape and the base grounds it with a clean simplicity. This piece continues my exploration of corrugation as more than just a texture, it’s a language, one that reshapes light into something ALIVE.
